Every child deserves a safe place to grow
In the Bicol region of the Philippines, too many young people face life on the streets with little support. Together, we can change that.

The Seeds of Hope Project is the first step in building a home, a community, and a future for vulnerable youth.

Why Seeds of Hope
Bicol’s Children Are Being Left Behind
Unlike Manila, this region has few safe places for abandoned and vulnerable children. Seeds of Hope Project is here to change that.

In Metro Manila, large NGOs serve street children where the need is most visible. But in Bicol, poverty runs deeper, support is scarce, and many children are abandoned, malnourished, or forced into dangerous labor.
Few safe places exist for them to turn.

Our Story
My name is Rose Reyes. After 30 years as a prosecutor in Los Angeles, I know how powerful love, care, and guidance can be in shaping a child’s future. Now, in retirement, my heart has called me back home — to build a place where vulnerable youth can feel safe, nurtured, and loved.

Together with my husband, Mark, I have started the
We purchased land in Sorsogon to build not just an orphanage, but a true community — a small village where children can feel safe, nurtured, and loved.
An organic farm will help feed and sustain the community while teaching life skills. More importantly, it will be a place where children can laugh, heal, learn, and discover that they are not alone and that their lives have purpose.

The start of this journey so far, has been exciting, a little scary at times and full of surprises. But, we know in our hearts is well worth it.

Our Vision
is to build an ecological village on an organic farm for children who have been orphaned, abandoned, neglected and surrendered – to grow in a loving, giving, and caring environment where they can be enriched and cherished emotionally, physically, and spiritually.
With your help we will provide:
A safe home with care and guidance
Support education and skills training for brighter futures
A community of love, dignity, and hope
